Dale’s Trail in Red Rock Canyon offers an adventurous and scenic route through dense and unpredictable terrain, blending rugged sandstone, gentle elevation changes, and wide-open desert views. The trail follows a thrilling and curvy path while still delivering a strong sense of place, making it ideal for great hiking, photography, or connecting to nearby routes.

As you move along the trail, the landscape gradually unfolds into rolling hills and subtle bends framed by layered red and tan sandstone formations. Vegetation is dense. The antithesis of the stereotypical Mojave, and the open terrain provides plenty of views across the basin, reinforcing the calm, unhurried nature of the hike.
